About This Content The Class 444 is a superb modern image EMU for the Portsmouth Direct Line, and comes complete with Portsmouth Direct Line scenarios and plenty to keep you busy in the cab.The Class 444 ‘Desiro’ electrical multiple units (EMUs) were built by Siemens AG in 2003 and 2004. Forty-five of these flagship sets were built to handle express services for South West Trains, as part of the process of replacing ageing ‘slam-door’ rolling stock so familiar to commuters in the south of England. After the teething problems encountered when introducing other new trains types in the UK, the 444s were subject to extensive testing at the Wildenrath test track prior to entering service. These 5-car units can run at 100mph on 750 volts DC, and with many realistic in-cab features, the Class 444 is a great addition to your Portsmouth Direct Line.IncludesClass 444 Electric Multiple Unit in white south west livery, includes DMOC, PTOSLW, TOLSB1, TOLSB2 and DMOS units.Features include moving sun blind, brake hold button (used for hill starts), desk light, Driver Reminder Appliance (DRA) and driver’s master key.Scenarios8 Scenarios for the Portsmouth Direct Line:Introduction to Class 444Route 17 pt1Route 17 pt2Join TogetherEpsom DownSouthern DivideShort FormDesiro RescuePlus 5 free roamsPLEASE NOTE: This add-on requires the Portsmouth Direct Line Expansion Pack (available separately) to run. 7aa9394dea Title: Train Simulator: South West Trains Class 444 EMU Add-OnGenre: SimulationDeveloper:Dovetail GamesPublisher:Dovetail Games - TrainsFranchise:Train SimulatorRelease Date: 8 Mar, 2012 Train Simulator: South West Trains Class 444 EMU Add-On Download Utorrent For Android The best train in South West Trains' fleet. Get it in the UK Collection Bundle to save even more!. A must have if you got the Portsmouth direct line. I have no idea why but almost all desiro units made by DTG\/RSC are very bad. If you can get this on sale at less than \u00a33, yes I'd say get it. If you have driven the class 450 (London to Brighton or Portsmouth Direct Line version) this is the same. Very minimal features, although it is a very old DLC. To sum it up. If you can get it on sale or in a bundle pack: Sure, get it why not, don't expect much.. To be honest, there's not much difference to this Multiple Unit to the 450 that comes default with the Portsmouth Direct Line. Apart from one thing: the Brakes have been improved fantastically. There's no now need to throw the Brake's on to near 'Emergency' just to get a 10 car train to stop at a red signal. Plus, it comes with plenty of scenarios which, for the price, is always going to get a glowing report from me.So... yeah. Not much else to say - it's there if you want it, but I recommend getting it as it does add a bit more life to the PDL.. Well, the 444 for train simulator is really meh. The sounds, heh heh heh. The physics are okay. The scenarios are okay, I guess. I really can't write much about this. Overall, 8\/10.DaCanadiaPika. This train has a nice design and I really like the colors of the units, but needs a passenger view. If the passenger trains have no passenger view, I don't play them. You may not care about that particular aspect in purchasing a loco but it matters to me. Thats is the only reason I PERSONALLY can't recommend this train. Just my own little get up. It definitely will not hurt to try it out for yourself. I haven't actually diven the train too much but I would like it to have a better braking system. I think it brakes too slow for my taste. Oh yeah, that's another reason. Sorry.. I bougth this train pack and the graphics are amazing. There is just one problem I can't play in career mode I can only play in quick try. I reccomend this game but is there anyone who can help Thanks. I like cats.. Bought this as part of a bundle, great train. Good effects, looks the part from the exterior view. Easy enough to drive, great commuter train. Only downside, no window view. Don't let that put you off great addition on the third rail (electric) routes. Would I pay list price??? Yes, if you own other electric lines, giving you more scope to use the loco. Now get driving...... Certainly a enjoyable EMU to drive and well worth the money. The 444 is similar in appearence and shares a similar cab to the Class 450 but with much faster acceleration and VERY affective brakes which may be considered a tad unrealistic but still better compared to the 450. The unit consists of 5 cars per train and comes in a colorful but unbranded South West Train Livery.Eight scenarios are included adding further value to this bargin which now sits at $8.99 due to it being a Classic add-on which is understandable since it's release date was back in 2012. No much in the way of issues but the lack of passenger view is a let down but oh well. This add-on is for the Portsmouth Direct Line route which good in itself if not a tad unfinished but the 444 feels right at home on any 3rd rail line under SWT operation. For the more serious user that wants more from their Class 444 but also owns the Class 450 and Class 360 then a sound pack is available from Armstrong Powerhouse which covers ALL THREE of these units which is also a bargin in itself.9\/10
