The marine faction is very overpowered when compaired to the other one. Often, the game will end in the favor of the one who spammed the most.. Wrote a review on 8-Bit armies which pretty much 'reviews' all three games.. it would load. This is a wonderful game and reminds me of the good ol' Command and Conquer days.Excellent strategy game and same with the other 8 Bit games.. 8-bit invaders is the BEST it the set. the factions are incredible and the story is perfect. loading can take a little longer then the other 2. the maps are bigger and better then previosly. if I was to play online on the games id probaly play on 8-bit armies. there were a few problems I had. the 2 new factions are overpowed and need to cost more. marines cost 120 but i think they should cost 180 because they are very powerful units. the wait time for them to charge should be longer as they have a load of health. they need to fair out the teams a bit because marines and crainoids are much more powerful then the other 4. very good game 4 stars. Not all that much time, but already have had a blast playing this game, and so fun to enjoy just on your own, and build up a huge army of, any troop really, and then annihilate the enemy team.. This was an excelent addition to the 8-bit series. A sci-fi vertion that featured two new factions with a different way to collect resources and the ability to use epic units. It also includes a conquer the multiverse mode that is very similar to that of Star Wars: Empire at War. Like the last two games, it is crossplayable with them, thus allowing you to pit aliens against elves and dwarves against modern military.. Fantastic game, I JUST WANT TO ZOOM OUT A LITTLE BIT MORE, other than that it's brilliant. Highly enjoyable installment in the 8-Bit series.The Marine and Cranioid factions use and build upon mechanics from both Armies and Hordes offering something that's easy to pick up, but which adds new nuances and twists to the tactics and possibilities. Each faction has their own campagin which is, as with all 8-Bit, amazing fun and incredibly diverting!On the downside, the Metaverse game feels somewhat limited right now, but if Petrogyph are Petroglyph we can expect that to rapidly become something properly special.The only gameplay fault seems to be when multiplaying with cross game factions. The resource collection method that the Invaders use completely prevents Armies or Hordes from using resource points. This means that as resources become more scarce the usual queue of allied harvesters is replaced with one Invader player's resource collector, shutting everyone else out. With careful control and negotiation this needn't be a problem, but it is a bit hands on and can be frustrating for non-Invaders players.Update: As of the 20th of Dec Invader harvesters have been altered to avoid resource nodes close to allies.
